Feedback Comments Moderation Policy

This policy outlines how the International Management Decision Library (IMDL) will moderate comments submitted to our site before publishing them
1. IMDL respects the respondent’s permission to publish their material (comment).
2. IMDL strives to position this online platform as transparent and open to various discussions and feedback and to share relevant information with interested parties. Therefore, our starting point is the desire to publish any comments in full. However, we will review all submitted content before publication to ensure compliance with generally accepted standards of business ethics.
3. This moderation will filter inappropriate content but not as a tool to censor incoming comments. With permission granted by the author, we will publish an unedited comment with the name of the respondent provided that the comment:
A) is not malicious or offensive and does not constitute or encourage personal attacks against anyone.
B) does not violate the law, including potentially libelous (defamatory) materials regarding third parties condoning illegal activities and infringing copyrights.
C) does not incite hatred based on race, religion, gender, age, nationality, or personality.
D) does not contain profanity, hate speech, or obscenity.
E) does not contain links to websites that are harmful or that we deem indecent.
F) does not impersonate or falsely claim to represent another person or entity.
G) does not commercially endorse or promote any product, service, or publication unrelated to the activities of IMDL.
H) does not disclose any person’s personal information, such as personal addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, and other online contact information.
4. We encourage respondents to think carefully before making statements contrary to the points above, especially those that relate to a specific organization or person.
We will edit any statements in material provided by respondents that do not meet the material eligibility guidelines set out above. Remember that violating these rules deprives others of the opportunity to be acquainted with your views on a particular management problem.
5. Please ensure that your comments are aimed directly at solving a specific problem and focus on interaction to resolve it. Comments that intentionally distract or ignore the topic of discussion will be considered off-topic and removed.
6. IMDL welcomes positive and negative feedback about our work, but please ensure that your comments comply with the above guidelines before publishing them.
7. This policy will be reviewed and updated (if necessary) annually unless an earlier review and update is required.
